How to Identify Your Shopify Store Domain

You can locate your permanent domain using either of the methods below.

Option 1: Locate via the Shopify Admin Address Bar

If you are currently logged into your Shopify admin panel:

  1. Look at the URL in your browser’s address bar (typically formatted as [admin.shopify.com/store/](https://admin.shopify.com/store/){store-identifier}).

  2. Copy the unique store identifier that appears immediately after /store/.

  3. Append .myshopify.com to the end of that identifier.

Example:

If your browser displays [admin.shopify.com/store/store-qjgrdyzi](https://admin.shopify.com/store/store-qjgrdyzi), your permanent domain is:

store-qjgrdyzi.myshopify.com

 

Option 2: Locate via the Shopify Partner / Dev Dashboard

If you are accessing your store through a development or partner account:

  1. Log in to your Shopify Partners or Dev Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Stores from the left-hand navigation menu.

  3. Locate your store name in the list.

  4. Copy the full .myshopify.com domain displayed directly beneath the store name.

Note: Custom domains (such as [www.mycoolshop.com](https://www.mycoolshop.com)) will not work for API authentication or store integration setup. Always use your original [your-store-name].myshopify.com handle.
