How to connect to EAS solution using Shopify Dev App

Setting Up a Shopify Dev Application in EAS Dashboard

Follow these steps to connect your custom Shopify Dev Application to your EAS Dashboard and complete the store installation.

Prerequisites

Before starting, ensure you have:

• Configured your Shopify Dev App inside your Shopify Partner account following Creating the EAS App in Shopify

• Saved your Client ID and Client Secret (see: Setting up Shopify store for EAS EU DDP).

• Located your permanent Shopify store domain (your_store.myshopify.com) following How to Identify Your Shopify Store Domain

Step 1: Add the Dev Application in EAS

1. Log in to your EAS Dashboard.

2. Click the Shopify Dev App option from the main menu in the top-right corner.

   

3. On the Configured Dev Applications screen, click Add New Dev App.
   

4. Fill in the required fields using the Client ID and Client Secret obtained from your Shopify Partner account.
    

   

5. Click Add.

Step 2: Connect the Dev App to Your Store

1. In the list of configured applications, click on the newly created application. The Stores view for that application will display.

2. Click Connect Dev App to new Store.

3. In the store URL field, enter your store’s permanent address in the following format:

Step 3: Install and Authorize in Shopify

1. On the confirmation screen, click Install App.
    

   

2. A new browser tab will automatically open, redirecting you to your Shopify Admin application installation page.

3. Review the app details and the requested access permissions.

4. Click Install to grant permissions and complete the setup.
