What is OSS?

OSS is one of the new VAT schemes enforced from 1.7.2021. The regulation has been put in place to provide simplified and cost-efficient VAT collection on intra-EU cross-border online sales.
OSS handles all goods and services regardless of value as long as the sale takes place within the EU. OSS allows for simplified quarterly paying and reporting of VAT to a single tax administration. 

OSS has no value thresholds or limitation to type of goods, i.e., digital or physical.  

OSS requires at a VAT registration in one EU country.
