Swiss Post x EAS DDP onboarding

In this article we explain on how to get started with Swiss Post x EAS DDP services

We've partnered with Swiss Post to offer the simplest way to sell to EU customers from Switzerland. With this service, you can sell to the EU as if you had a local warehouse.

If you're only using EAS IOSS services, you can skip step 4.

Steps to Get Started:

  1. Register with EAS for Swiss Post DDP – Start your registration [here].

  2. Create a SwissID Account – Ensure you have a SwissID account. If not, you can easily register for SwissID at https://login.swissid.ch/login/registration/

  3. Register as a Business Customer – Make sure you are registered as a business customer. If you do not have a Business Account, visit https://www.post.ch/en/business-solutions/become-a-business-customer

  4. Request an Invoicing Relationship – Once your business account is set up, request an invoicing relationship in your MyPost account settings.

For more information on Swiss Post accounts or to schedule a meeting, visit https://international.post.ch/ or book a meeting with Swiss Post.

Once you have received a Swiss Post Customer number for Swiss Post DDP, share it with your EAS Support Manager.

After completing registration, EAS will configure your online store to ensure it’s ready for European sales. Once configured, you can begin selling to the EU as if you had a local warehouse.

For any additional questions about the EAS service, we are happy to have a talk.
