Shopify Installation by EAS

Collaboration requests can permit EAS to install and configure EAS app for you.

In order to accept collaboration requests, go to Settings → Users and permissions. Scroll a little down and find collaborator view. There you will see the banner that says that there is a collaboration request pending.

For EAS to install and configure EAS app for you, we need the following permissions:

• Orders – this tab is needed to observe the results of EAS app VAT calculation;
• Draft Orders – this tab is needed to observe the results of EAS app VAT calculation for orders that were not completed;
• Products – this tab is needed to configure products as VAT taxable and see all possible attributes that affect its taxation;
• Gift Cards – this tab is needed to be able to match EAS Gift card attribute with associate Gift Cards in Shopify;
• Discounts – this tab is needed to be able to test discounts and their properties applied during the checkout process together with EAS app;
• Manage and install apps and channels – this tab is needed to be able to install EAS app;
• Theme – this tab is needed to be able to match EAS app with the current theme in the store if the store was built using a custom theme;
• Manage settings – this tab is needed to be able to adjust standard tax engine and shipping zones;
• Locations – this tab is needed to be able to see fulfillment priority and match it with EAS settings;
• View apps developed by staff and collaborators – this tab is needed to make sure that EAS does not conflict with any other app installed in the store;

After we have collaboration access, we will do the following:

• Installation of EAS app from the Shopify App store;
• Store and app configuration:
  • Setting up EU shipping methods and rates;
  • Setting up Markets for EU zone;
  • Setting up the tax rates;

• Making a test run by adding products to the cart and then proceeding to the checkout to see final calculations.
• After we have finished testing, we are asking customers to test the functionality by him/herself and give feedback.
• In case the customer has questions/comments, we are going through them. Otherwise, the installation is complete.
